Dead Strip Installation The
dead strip works properly in one direction only. If you run your cars in both directions you will need to
switch the wires around on the dead strip when you switch directions.
For
proper operation the WHITE wire will be connected to the dead strips positive
side. If
you have a voltmeter determine which rail is positive.
Hold controller to full throttle and measure voltage across the rails. Color

Testing
Use Diagnostic from main
menu for testing. This system works only with cars running in one direction.
Run cars passed dead strip as fast as you can.
'Triggered Counters' should
count about 10 times or more when
car crosses dead strip. If counter
counts only a few times or not at all then wires to Dead Strip are probably
reversed. The proper
way should give you the most counts when testing at same speed. |
